Kansas Elected Officials Business Cards

There are ( 9 ) Comments below.
kansas representative business card

I’ve met a few elected officials in the past few weeks who have been teaching me how to run for office. It’s mostly little tips. For example, wear your name button on your right side rather than the usual left because it stays in the line of sight when you shake hands with someone. Like I said, it’s little things.

One of the cool things I’ve discovered are their business cards. They’re all cut into the shape of Kansas. It’s a bit on the cheesy side, but it’s yet another thing that we can do that Maryland can’t.

The one state that I’d like to see do this is Hawaii.  Or better yet, Hawaii could do ‘punch cards’ where you punch out the shapes of the islands as the candidate ‘wins’.

Pfftt.  Colorado and Wyoming pols have been doing this forever.  wink

I just sent you $8.34.  I hope you win.  Good luck!

I’m deeply offended… we Maryland folk could do this kind thing… it would just take some *very* intricate work with scissors… and not a lot of text. wink

Truthfully though, when I first saw the card pictured, (Before reading the text).. my first thought was “Wait, who hands out a business card that the dog got ahold of?”.. then I read the text, now it all makes sense… grin

OK, I’ve donated to your campaign despite the cheap shot at Maryland :D
Because Kansas needs real science education. (Geez, Kansas, haven’t you already been through this before? Give up on the ID, already!!)

Now, you want a state that wouldn’t make a very good business card, there’s Hawai’i.

Joining the ranks of Marylanders—although a Maryland card would be hard to read, and it would take time doing all the fiddly bits, like a business card Slartibartfast. smile

I’d say a bigger challenge would be Michigan.  What would you do, hand them two separate cards?  And for ultimate challenge, forget Hawaii, how about Alaska, including all the Aleutians?

I know Paul Davis, he’s good people.

When I first saw them I though the card had been stapled to another sheet and it was just ripped off and scanned. Good luck with the campaign Sean!

Yeah, I have a business card like that too… of course, I do live in Colorado raspberry

I hope things pull through tonight, it’s an awesome campaign you have. Very inspirational!
