I was one of your donors for your creative campaign, and I just checked your website to see how you’re doing, and went to the blog… I enjoyed the HDNet video and blog entry. I just wish they hadn’t used the word “maverick.” I can’t hear that word without Sarah Palin’s accent.

You are the first person to ever make me want to visit Kansas. I’m really a coastal/beach girl. I just never thought of spending my hard-earned vacation days and money visiting Kansas, or most of middle America for that matter. But the way you talked about your town was so warm and welcoming, that it made me think “now that’s sounds like a nice town.” Maybe someday I’ll trade hurricanes for tornadoes.

Best of luck with your campaign. I’m still watching with interest, and sincerely pulling for you.
